“Love Stories of Shahnameh” is based on epic poems from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh (The
Book of Kings, Iranian national epic), one of the masterpieces of Persian literature, retelling
the tales of “Khosrow and Shirin”, “Bahram and Arezoo” and “Sohrab and Gordafarid”.
